The meaning of the columns in the rating table (See section 3.1.1 A Tiny Table for Reference..) is as follows:
Column | Label | Description |
1 | Intl. Ranking | International ranking (See section 3.3 Rating and Ranking. What do I make of that?.). If the column is empty (Frank Albers, Ling Man, and Mart˙n Verboom), the players are unranked (See section 3.5 How Can I Get a Ranking?.). |
2 | Natl. Ranking | All ranked players are additionally ranked in the country-list. The column contains two items: A number, which is the national rank. And a two-letter ISO-3166 country-code, which defines the country-list, the player belongs to. E.g., André Pols is the third best player of NL. |
3 | Games Factor | The number of games in the database. |
4 | Name | Last word of the surname |
5 | Prename | Prename and all but the last word of the surname |
6... | Rating | New tournaments are inserted in column 6; old tournaments scroll out at the right edge of the table. The header lines denote place and date of the tournament. The rating cells are colored (See section 3.1.4 Wish You Were Here. But now You Are Gray.. See section 3.1.3 Heaven and Blood: The Background Colors..). |
