3.10 How can I read this Script Offline?
Writing this script in HTML-format makes it easy to divide the text into pages and to insert
references within the text. But unluckily, depending on caches and browsers, most of the
readers have to be online to read the text. Reading online may be adequate for those with a
flat rate. There are two choices to make the others happy:
-
Put all the HTML- and PNG-files into a single ZIP-archive (`script.zip',
See section 5.4 The Formal Description of the Procedure..). You will have to download the whole stuff, unpack it, and read it with
your browser offline.
-
Another method is to prepare a printed version of this script. The system (`texinfo')
used to prepare this text is ready for mapping the whole text into a single PDF-file. Because
I disliked the way, how `Texi2html' formatted the tables (without border lines), I had to
make a small modification. But I still dislike the way how `texi2dvi' print the
tables.
